January on Lake Belton

Well Tournament #1 for 2022 is in the books. This will be short and sweet, kind of like weigh in!! LOL.

Congrats to Mike Newsham and his guest for winning!

We had 3 teams show up to brave the cold and rain this past Saturday. I think the fish felt the same way the anglers did about the weather. Our results are:

Lake: Belton
Date: January 8, 2022
Time: 7am -3pm
Weigh in: Temple Lake Park

1^st Place: Mike Newsham and Guest – 5 Fish – Total weight 7.90lbs

2^nd Place: Sara and Buck – 2 Fish -Total Weight 3.09lbs

Buck MMB 1.93lbs

3^rd Place: Allen and Glenda 0 Fish

There was no women’s big bass for the day.

Weigh in participants that didn’t fish but showed up were appreciated. Scott/Susan and Karl/Monica thanks for coming out! I have calendars for anyone that didn’t make it that Karl asked me to pass along so remind me when you see me.

See everyone in February at Fayette County. Remember this is a slot lake 16”-24” and will be a paper/picture tournament so have your fish ruler that will go up to 24” for your fish pictures.
