We have found a new meeting location!  We will have the next meeting this coming Tuesday, September 7 at the new location! It is only 2.8 miles further north than Baby A’s.  It is the IHOP at 183 (Research) and Duval. The restaurant has a private meeting room with a door that closes and they will give us separate checks.  Okay, so you can’t have a beer but you can have a “Rooty-Tooty Fresh and Fruity!

As most of you probably know Fuddruckers on I-35 has closed. Several members have researched new meeting places.

For the May 4 meeting we will meet at the Baby Acapulco Restaurant near the Arboretum

• They will close an entire section of their restaurant for our club on the first Tuesday of each month
• They will give us separate checks
• Their menu is varied
• They have a bar
• There is no charge for using their room
• There is additional free parking in their parking garage

We still have options for other places. But let’s try this one out. The location is pretty central for all teams.

I have implemented a new feature on our site which will automatically email all registered users of mrandmrsbassclub.org  when a new article is posted.  The email will include the title of the article and will provide a link to get there.  I took the liberty to add all the people who have already set up a MMBC profile to the subscriber list which means you should have received an email about this article.  I suggest that you stay subscribed to all categories.  I think its very cool, let me know what you think by leaving your comments.  You may manage your subscription options from your profile.

Time schedule for the Bassmaster Classic shows on ESPN

Newlyweds Jim and Donna Tyree have been recognized by ESPN for being the “perfect couple” and we couldn’t agree more!   Congratulations Jim and Donna.  What a cool way to kick off your marriage!  We hope yall have a blast at the classic.  Take lots of pictures so we can share them here on our site.
