September tournament
Mr. & Mrs. Bass Club of Austin held their monthly meeting on September 6, 2016 at Threadgill’s on North Lamar. Teams who attended were Anderson, Davis, Gast, Huebel/Smith, Summers,Trevino, and Wilson.
President Anderson started out the meeting by giving a huge congratulations to Jeff and Emily on their engagement! Happy birthday to Laurie on the 1st.
Tournament director Jeff announced results for our August tournament was held at Lake LBJ. There were 4 teams that fished the night tournament. Results were 1st place was Team Wilson with 16.02 lbs. Men’s big bass went to Steve with a 3.46. Laurie had women’s big bass with a 3.35. There were no other teams that brought in fish.
Next on the TD agenda was voting on times, locations, and a date for upcoming tournaments. They are:

Rooms are cancelled at Amistad Resort, they’re booked at River City lodging now.

New business:
We’ve got a couple tournaments coming up with an opportunity to take a soldier fishing. The first one is Fishing for Freedom, registration is October 7, 2016 at the Killeen Convention Center, with dinner provided. Tournament day is October 8th at Lake Belton (BLORA).
