April 2023 on Lake Travis
MMBC held our April Fools Day tournament on Lake Travis this past weekend. The lake being 42’ low was really easy to get around! At least until the 10am when the party started everywhere and the lake became very active! The weather was slightly chilly at takeoff, but warmed up with light to moderate wind and made for a very pretty day! The fishing was a very typical Lake Travis day, with lots of bites and scraping to put a decent bag together with fish over 2lbs, but, all in all, it was a fun day! If you’re looking to take the kiddos fishing, go during the week and they should catch plenty on Lake Travis!
We had 5 teams turnout and fish and all 5 teams brought back a limit and made it a close event.
