March 2-Day on Choke Canyon

Hi Everyone! We had our spring 2 day tournament on Choke Canyon this past weekend. The weather turned out to be really nice! Despite the low water conditions and a few other large tournaments going at one time, it was a great weekend for seeing some nice fish come to the scales!

Seven teams showed up to fish the two day event! There were some really nice fish caught and the group ended up with six fish over 6lbs being caught and another over 5lbs and numerous big girls that got away!

After a slow launch with a cast of thousands Saturday morning and a few our teams having to edge out the San Antonio policemen from their spots, the tournament went really well! Brian even had to play bumper boats with trolling motors on high to secure his spot, but he eventually won the battle and it paid off big time!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO BRIAN AND NIKKI WASHBURN for two really nice back to back days and winning the event with a two day combined total of 38.51 lbs!

BIG, BIG BASS CONGRATULATIONS to Brian for his MBB of 8.89 LBS!!! Wow, She was pretty!! and BIG BASS Congratulations to Brenda Davis with her 6.45 LB lunker of her own!! Wow again!!

We had two 20LB plus bags come to the scales on Sunday as Cliff and Brenda had a great day as well with 2 fish over 6 LBs in their Sunday bag.

Great job, EVeryone! It was really great seeing everyone! See y’all next month!
