An Austin Bass Club for Couples – Mr. and Mrs. Bass Club Of Austin!

We are glad you found our Austin Bass Club for Couples!  We are a fun, active, spirited group who enjoys friendly bass fishing competition. The Mr and Mrs Bass Club of Austin is an Austin, Texas based bass club. Our bass club is for male and female couples, married or single, old or young, beginners or seasoned anglers. All fishing is done from a boat. Each couple is a “team” and competes in the monthly bass fishing tournaments. The dues are only $30.00 for the year and teams pay only $40.00 to participate in each bass fishing tournament.  We are the only Austin bass club exclusively for couples!

The Mr. and Mrs. Bass club of Austin currently meets at 7:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month. Currently we meet via ZOOM, but we hope to start meeting in person again soon! At the meetings awards for the previous bass fishing tournaments are presented, Angler of the Year standings are reported, business discussed, future tournaments are planned and tips and techniques are shared. A raffle for prizes is held at the end of each meeting.

The Mr and Mrs Bass Club of Austin holds monthly bass fishing tournaments on local area lakes.  Once during the spring and once in the fall we hold an “out of town” two-day fishing tournament where we usually visit bass fishing hot spots such as Amistad, OH Ivie, Sam Rayburn, Falcon Lake or Toledo Bend just to name a few.  All bass fishing tournament locations, dates and times are chosen by a vote of  the club members.  In January we celebrate with a festive year-end party where we present awards to the top three teams along with men’s and woman’s big bass of the year.

In addition to our monthly club meetings and bass  fishing tournaments, we are all members of the Texas Association of Bass Clubs (TABC) and participate in their annual tournament. The yearly dues for TABC are $30.00 per couple.

The Mr and Mrs Bass Club of Austin is also involved in the community.  We have charities we support such as Blue Santa and SafePlace.org with time and donations.  We also participate in any fishing related community event that we are able to be involved in.

The Mr and Mrs Bass Club of Austin currently has 14 active teams (28 members) and welcome all couples who are interested in joining our fun fishing club.
