Welcome to our January 2020 meeting. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! Happy birthday to Mike Newsham (26th); Rose Marie Trevino (27th); and Laurie Newsham (28th).

Treasurer’s Report: Cliff Davis Cliff handed out the treasurer’s report.

Tournament Director: Allen Summers

The December tournament was held on Fayette. 4 teams fished. Results: 3rd place Team Davis with 9.73 pounds; 2nd place Team Newsham with 10.01 pounds; and 1st place Team Summers with 10.71 pounds. No bass were brought in to weigh for big bass. Congratulations to all!!

Time: 7:00 am- 3:00 pm

** REMINDER: Decker is a slot lake (14” – 21”); if you catch a fish over 21”, bring that fish to weigh in for “big bass” measuring/weighing. If you have questions, please ask Allen ** 2nd REMINDER – Allen will send an e-mail out to everyone on Friday evening with the item that must be placed next to your fish in the photo(s).

Old Business: None.

New Business: Dues for the 2020 fishing year is due ($30). Please get your payment to Cliff.

Please start thinking about the spring 2-day tourney. Bring lake suggestions along with information on hotel availability, etc. to the February meeting so we can begin discussions.

Club Christmas Party will be hosted again this year by Glenda and Allen Summers (y’all are amazing) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Please bring a wrapped gift ($25 value) for each person wanting to participate in white elephant exchange. The club voted for an Italian dinner, which will consist of Spaghetti with meatballs, Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, Lasagna with meat, Caesar salad, bread and Cannoli’s for dessert. Laurie Wilson is making an additional dessert and Laurie Newsham is making homemade caramels. BYOB!! Sodas will be provided.

Raffle time: Mike ended the night with an awesome raffle!
